Important! Here's how often you should change your toothbrush

Our mouths and teeth are a haven for bacteria that are often a reflection of our overall health.
While our toothbrushes are a key element in maintaining good dental hygiene, you need to take care to keep them clean and replace them whenever necessary. Proper brushing twice in day we are taught from an early age.
However, as the saying goes, a worker is just as good as his tools, so if your toothbrush is in bad condition it is probably time to throw it away and buy a new one.
How often should you change your toothbrush?
Oral B recommends changing your toothbrush about every three months, and the American Dental Association (ADA) recommends that you replace your toothbrush approximately every three to four months, or sooner if part of the floss is destroyed. This is because, regardless of the type of toothbrush you use, its fibers can become obsolete and worn out and may lose their effectiveness.
"Clinical research shows that a new toothbrush can remove more impurities than what has been consumed, ensuring that your brush is working harder to help keep your teeth clean and healthy."
Many dentists support this and recommend that you change your toothbrush every three months or when the toothbrush starts to show signs of wear - whichever comes first.
