Why should you never wrap food in aluminum foil?

To store leftovers, we usually use a piece of aluminum foil. We generally do this to prevent flies from gathering in the food, or to keep it warm. However, experts warn that this is a very bad and harmful solution.
When we cover freshly cooked or reheated food with aluminum foil, which we usually buy for this purpose, we allow the bacteria in the food to grow faster. Bacteria are favored by higher temperatures, in which they survive more easily, and then reproduce faster, which leads to faster spoilage of food.
Instead, it would be good to put the food in a container of the right size, necessarily with a lid. Food should be stored immediately in the refrigerator, and not left at room temperature, because it is quite favorable for bacteria. Only in this way will we be sure that the food will not spoil.
