How to make fasting easier? The well-known specialist gives the ideal solution: The juice of this vegetable fills you up for 8 hours. Contains antioxidants that prevent countless diseases including cancer
Written by SOT.COM.AL 24 Mars 2023
During the holy month of Ramadan, Muslims fast from dawn to dusk, which means not eating anything for more than 10 hours, depending on the season. It happens when the holy month of Ramadan, due to the long hours of hunger, becomes even more difficult, but if it includes foods that help to overcome hunger and thirst, then the help is great.
Professor Oguz Ozyaral told Anadolu Agency (AA) that tomato juice helps fasting people feel fuller during the day and stay healthy during the long month of Ramadan.
"Tomato juice is the best and most nutritious way because it has many health benefits. It contains antioxidants that prevent countless diseases including cancer. In addition, tomato juice helps people feel full for up to eight hours. Drinking tomato juice during Suhoor is always a good choice", adds Professor Ozyaral.
Although tomato juice may not be that tasty, you can add some ingredients to change its taste.
Chop six tomatoes, two celery leaves, one onion, six cloves of garlic, one sweet pepper and one chili. Put all this in the mixer and add two spoons of sugar and one tablespoon of salt. Mix thoroughly.
Put the mixture in a pan, add some water and boil. Once it boils, let it cool down a bit and put it in the blender again until every little part is gone.
Enjoy your meal!
