"Euro2024"/ Sylvinho publishes the list, innovations and new trends for the Albanian national team

The coach of the Albanian National Team, Sylvio Mendes Campos Junior, has announced the list of 27 invited players for the two matches of the Euro 2024 qualifiers against Moldova and the Faroe Islands.

Compared to the March match against Poland, this time the red and black technician has gathered more players, given that there are two matches in June, while there are also new names or important returns.

There will be four goalkeepers invited to the gathering, and in addition to Etrit Berisha, Thomas Strakosha and Elhan Kastrati, Simon Simoni, the goalkeeper of the U-21 national team, who is coming for the first time with the team in an official match, is also on the list.

In defense, Berat Gjimshiti and Ardian Ismajli, who were absent in March against Poland due to injury, return, as well as Adrian Bajrami, who has been invited for these challenges.

The other names that make up the defense department are Ivan Balliu, Elseid Hysaj, Federic Veseli, Enea Mihaj and Andi Hadroj, while another newcomer is Mario Mitaj, who also comes from the U-21 National Team.

Even in the midfield there is an important return, as Keidi Bare has put the injury behind him and is fully ready for the National Team in these important matches. Klaus Gjasula, Ylber Ramadani, Kristjan Asllani, Amir Abrashi, Nedim Bajrami, Keidi Bare, Qazim Laçi and Anis Mehmeti complete this department.

For the attack, coach Silvinjo has invited a total of 6 players, while in this department there are also two changes compared to the last gathering. Armando Sadiku will return to the team, while the coach has also invited Ernest Muçin, as together with Myrto Uzun, Taulant Seferin, Jasir Asanin and Sokol Cikalleshi will complete the red and black offensive.

Coach Silvinho will appear at a press conference on June 5 to talk about the roster and the two games, while the squad will be in full training starting on June 12.
