Very soon WhatsApp will bring a new option that everyone will love!

The most popular messaging app owned by Meta, WhatsApp is one of the most used social platforms because of the instant communication it offers to its users. The company keeps introducing new updates and improvements to this app to make the user experience better and more fun while interacting with their loved ones or friends.

It has been announced that WhatsApp will introduce another update offering its millions of users to distribute their messages to a larger but certainly more specific audience. Its latest feature will allow users in Singapore and Colombia to create broadcast channels to "share updates with their followers".

"Yesterday, WhatsApp for iOS update 23.14.74 is available on the App Store," WABetaInfo reported, as the feature is currently rolling out to iOS users in the two aforementioned countries.

While the official changelog doesn't provide detailed information about the new features in this update, we found that WhatsApp is now introducing the ability to create channels in Singapore and Colombia.

According to WABetaInfo, the update includes an improved feature of a wide collection of avatars, as shown in the existing official changelog. Additionally, WhatsApp users in Singapore and Colombia can access it by going to the Updates tab and selecting Create channel. Once a channel is created, a channel invite link can be shared with others.
