What scares the Serbian president? Vucic "speaks with half a voice": I dare not present the entire European plan for Kosovo

The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vu?i?, said during the special session of the Serbian Assembly that "the purpose of today is not to transfer the responsibility to this institution or to the people".

"The goal is to appear in front of you and the citizens and honestly and openly share what awaits us and what we are facing," said Vucic in the Assembly.

On February 2, the Serbian Assembly is debating the report of the Government in Belgrade regarding the negotiations with Kosovo.

Upon arriving at the Assembly, the Serbian opposition held banners with the photo of the murdered Serbian politician, Oliver Ivanovic, with the inscription "You will answer" and "Vucic betrayed Kosovo".

The plenary session is being held after the president of Serbia has accepted the proposal from the European Union for the normalization of relations with Kosovo.

Vu?i? said that he does not dare to show the whole European plan before the Parliament, but only the worst parts for Serbia.

"What is more important is that the plan is the political framework, the moment in which everything happens", said Vucic.

The Serbian president said that he told the team of European and American diplomats, with whom he talked on January 20 in Belgrade, that he has great reservations about the key issue.

"There are also good things in the plan, I will not talk about them", he added.

The EU proposal, or as it is also known as the Franco-German plan, is also supported by the United States.

The plan has not been made public, but has been presented to the parties.
