Storms with heavy rains and snow, Greece is "stuck" by bad weather

Greece is affected by bad weather on Thursday, due to low atmospheric pressure throughout the country.

According to the local meteorological agency, heavy rains and storms were first verified in the Ionian Islands and the western part of mainland Greece.

Meanwhile, there was partial rainfall in the rest of the country.

During the day, the bad weather has progressed, moving to the east and thus affecting the whole country, including Attica, Athens and Thessaloniki.

Meanwhile, there was snowfall in the mountainous and semi-mountainous areas in the north, north-west and in the central part of the Hellenic state.

They have covered various cities in the region of Western Macedonia and are expected to continue on Friday.
