In Shkodër, organized crime monitors the State Police and the movements of rival groups in almost every neighborhood. After the action of a few days ago in the neighborhoods of Lice and Bajraj, from the "5 Heroes" roundabout to the first roundabout of the by pass and on the other side to the Dobraci roundabout, for the dismantling of 21 security cameras placed illegally, the blues of Shkodra intervened again yesterday to dismantle another 38 cameras, bringing their total to 59. As in the first operation, the cameras were installed on electric poles, in areas that are considered very frequented by the citizens of Shkodra. All the dismantled cameras are suspected to be connected to mobile devices and their control is done via the Internet, even from abroad, allegedly in Germany. The police have not yet been able to trace the authors of the placement of these cameras, while the servers that store the video recordings have not been found. Meanwhile, two people were put in handcuffs by the police yesterday, as they are accused of defrauding foreign citizens to invest in fictitious stock markets. According to the police, the persons with the initials RM and SH administered an unlicensed entity, with undeclared activity to the competent authorities, on "Egnatia" street, which they had adapted as a call center. During the intervention by the Police services, they were caught in the act while they were deceiving a foreign citizen, to invest in a fictitious stock market. From the verifications carried out, it was found that the two arrested persons called foreign citizens, introduced themselves as sales agents and through fraud, convinced them to invest in the fictitious Forex exchange.
