A bitter news came from the famous director Peter Werner, who was reportedly taken to the hospital after a ruptured aorta, while he died a few minutes later as a result of cardiac complications.
Born in New York, the 76-year-old director made his first film in 1971 after completing undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in documentary production.
Werner, who won an Oscar in the category "Best Short Film" in 1976 for his short film "In the Region of Ice", was nominated for Emmy Awards 4 times for his successful productions.
Pete Werner was known for TV series like 'Moonlighting' starring Bruce Willis, 'Proof', 'Bull', 'Grimm', 'Outsiders' and 'Ice'.
The famous director has also directed many TV movies such as 'LBJ: The Early Years', which tells the life of the 36th president of the USA, Lyndon Baines Johnson.
