The echo of the Athens meeting with the Albanian emigrants, which Prime Minister Rama organized on May 12, will live long and there will be fluid comments and attitudes according to the currents and political interests of certain Hellenic circles. In these 33 years of so-called democracy, it was the first time that like never before and like no one else, the brilliant speech of Prime Minister Ram had innovation, and revealed many naked truths, which had been covered by the forgetful dust of the conscience of our politicians and statesmen. He, made a cellular scanner, all historical relations between Albania and Greece. For the first time, Albanians publicly saw in this grand rally, a Prime Minister speak without gloves and remembered his yesterday's inferior representatives, from the left and right governments during pluralism, and for this fact felt proud of the appearance before them of a leader with partnership, dignity and reciprocity towards its southern neighbor. History has clearly spoken that Albanians have traditionally been peaceful and friendly. While our neighbors on both sides, such as the southern and northern ones, have been aggressors. The truth must be told as it is, there is no need to cover for conjunctural compromises. If the truth is not recognized and demonstrated, it remains a wound that will never heal. How can the genocide and inhumane massacre of Napolon Zerva against the Cham population be forgotten and not loudly affirmed, who drove them with brutal violence from their lands, homes and family hearths. But even today, the Greek political class has not reflected and changed from their ancestors as long as they do not recognize the genocide and do not allow the Cham community to lie on the graves of their ancestors, denying you a human right and a international law, free movement. Although they are members of the EU and NATO, their actions and attitudes towards the Cham population show that in their concrete activity, they are not democratic. Time has proven with facts that the Greek changes his skin, but does not forget the habit. It was the Greek aggression that would invade Albania in 1912, where the Greek forces reached Llogora and were repulsed by the resistance of the Albanian forces, mainly Labes. That's why Venizelos has the well-known "epitaphary" statement: "let there be a bit of Albania, but don't have Labëri". It was the Greek fascist forces, which attacked Albania in the August provocations on Mount Gramoz in 1949, that received the deserved response. The spiral of Greek chauvinist actions reminds us fresh of the Peshkpi massacre, where Beleri was also an active actor in this massacre. These and other episodes and events should not be forgotten, nor should they be erased from the collective memory. The coin has both sides. The Greek people have a different philosophy and worldview and different governments. Post-communist immigration to Greece was generally well received. But let's not forget the many denigrating and contemptuous attitudes mentioned by Prime Minister Rama, even changing their names to accept them at work. Denial of religion, language,the flag, were psychological pressures, which in their beginnings the immigrants have experienced painfully. This situation has been overcome, thanks to the dignity and personality that the Albanians have shown, with their work and correctness, and today they feel equal. The Greek governments, having a significant population of employed Albanians, have exerted pressure and demanded undeserved privileges. Sometimes they have exercised dictation with absurd demands, such as for the opening of Greek schools in Himara and Korça, or the cemeteries of Greek soldiers in Kosinje of Përmet and Boboshticë of Korçë, which they succeeded in lecturing them unjustly. Why did Prime Minister Rama's visit arouse an allergy in Greek politicians and statesmen when they enter and leave Albania as if they were at home? Then central and local authorities parade in Himara with Greek flags, write Greek slogans, that Himara is Greece, Himara is not Labëri, etc. endless history. Within ourselves we have the great evil that the venom of the oppositional viper seeks to contaminate the internal situation. The reaction of the chairman of the "Foltore" Party, nongrata-Berisha and like his brother Meta, were expressed in the same line as the Greek reactionary circles. This is not a new thing that these anti-nationals have kept their linear line by making alliances with OMONIEN to bring to power at the head of the Himara Municipality, first Bollanon and finally Beleri, giving the votes of the "Together We Win" Coalition. . If we were to compare the attitudes of our government with the Greek minority and the Greek government with our immigrants, not to mention the attitude towards the Cham community, it is diametrically opposite. Even during the communist era, the Albanians treated the Greek minority with a special appreciation, privileging them in high positions, where they had schools in the Greek language in all the villages, even a branch in the "Eqerem Çabej" University. They have been coming for 400 years and settled in the lands of Libohovits and Gjirokastrites, as Eqrem Çabej writes, and today they are land owners, when the Chams are denied the right to property. Certain Greek circles were irritated when Prime Minister Rama sparingly mentioned one of the heroines who fell in the Greek national uprising in 1821, the Arber woman Bubulina, or real name Dhoskarina, who fought for the liberation of the Greek people. But the list of heroes of the war for the liberation of Greece is long, continuing with the Suliot leader Marko Boçari, who stood out for the defense of Ioannina in 1821-1822. Kolkotroni and Foto Xhavella, two of the prominent figures of Arbëresh residents of Greece, heroes who fought for the independence of Greece. Anastas Kullurioti, Arbëresh from Salamina, Greece, who has fought for both the Greek and the Albanian cause. These examples and others show that we have a common history, which we need to clean from the black stains of anti-national circles and extinguish the burning fire of the law of war that has been couched and guarded by Greek politicians.The law of war and the treaty of friendship cannot coexist. When we behave and become equal, we will be both free and two friendly peoples.
