Analyst Ben Andoni commented today on the race for the capital's municipality. He said in an interview that those who lost in the primary in front of Belind Këlliç will not contribute to his confrontation with Veliaj. Ben Andoni, on the other hand, appreciated the approach of Belind Këlliç not to include former prime minister Sali Berisha in the campaign.

"There is a perception that people who enter the primaries are not democratic enough in Albania to lose and collect votes. I don't believe that they will hinder him, but I don't believe that they will help him in the local elections either. I am talking about the candidates with whom he competed.

He also spoke about the division in the Democratic Party, calling it a division of interests and the electorate.  "The division of DP is a division of interests, not a division for the electorate. The asset of a party, itself is an asset where you have different benefits. In the case of Mr. Alibeaj, he is in the parliament. Above all, you have the great honor of leading the first party in the country. They have great benefits among other things.

I'm sorry for the way the Democratic Party ended. PD has closed its mission, despite the divisions. The socialists have taken up the cause of the persecuted and are now taking the restitution of a part to the end. I don't want to take time. After the Democratic Party, in the near future when the SP will not be in power, the extinction of the SP will also happen. Because both of these parties no longer represent us. "Since the agreement of 2008, Berisha and Rama can no longer sit down to change the constitution" , said Andoni.
