"We are in a state of war with Greece"/ Shpëtim Idrizi appeals to the government: The issue of the law should be raised in NATO and the EU

The head of PDIU, Shpëtim Idrizi, considered Prime Minister Rama's visit to Athens, where he met with Albanian immigrants, a new moment in Albania's foreign policy. Invited to a TV show, Shpëtim Idrizi analyzed Rama's visit to Athens, while saying that the head of the government set red lines with Greece, at the head of which is the lifting of martial law.

Invited to 'Studio Live', Idrizi said that for Rama there is room for criticism and opposition, but society, politics and the media must unite as far as the foreign policy and national interest of Albania is concerned.

"A new moment in Albania's foreign policy. For Rama, there is as much room as you want for criticism and opposition. We must understand that when it comes to foreign policy we as a society must learn to speak a language with an attitude. Foreign policy is a carrier of national interest. Albania's national interest with Greece must be translated into foreign policy.

The Greeks engrave the national interest on Mount Olympus, we write the national interests of Greece and Albania on ice. This interest should count for us. Rama there mentioned some truths that have been said and left out many times by Albanian politics, which have to do with red lines. Albania's red lines with Greece are the lifting of the law of war, the Albanians of Chameria pensions and next the things that bring us everyday", said Idrizi.
Focusing on the law of war, which Greece has abolished with Italy, the head of the PDIU says that we are in a state of war with Greece, and therefore this matter must be pursued to the end.

For the first time it was understood that the state of war is in force, then the legal consequences on the properties. And if Greece refuses to lift the law of war, Idrizi says that the Albanian state should raise this issue in NATO and the EU.

He removed the same law with Italy in 1947, with the first international act that came from the war, the Peace Treaty. With Italy, he removed half of it, and kept the other half there. It obliges us to have a treaty of friendship. The foreign ministers of Greece who come say yes, we are removing it. If Albania remains consistent, the national interest is the abolition of the law of war.
