In the National Assembly convened today by former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, the vote of confidence of his supporters was held.


After the end of the counting of votes, Berisha has been reconfirmed as the head of the Reestablishment Democrats.

The Secretary for Legal Affairs, Ivi Kaso, revealed that Berisha received 938 votes in favor and 55 against, reconfirming the former prime minister in charge of the Re-establishment.

The number of voters according to the list of voters, the voters who were identified as being in the hall, was 1203.
It turns out that the number of voters who voted is 1000, which is also the number of ballots that were found in the 6 ballot boxes.
The number of valid votes is 993, 7 invalid votes.
The distribution of votes is as follows, 938 delegates voted in favor, 55 delegates voted against.
Based on article 46 point 9 of the Statute of the Democratic Party of Albania, it results that Sali Berisha has been reconfirmed as the head of the party.
