What happened? The hearing against Kurt is postponed, the reason is revealed

In the absence of deputies, the session of the Assembly of Kosovo, called two months ago, was postponed. The opposition party, the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, which called this session to discuss the three years of Prime Minister Albin Kurti's government, aimed to vote on a resolution calling for Kurti's resignation or dismissal.

The session was adjourned indefinitely.

 "By surrendering, Prime Minister Kurti has created a position to negotiate the conditions of surrender with the opposition, but we do not accept these conditions, we will sooner or later expect his capitulation through resignation ," said Besnik Tahiri, MP, AAK.

Such a lack of deputies in the session, according to the Democratic Party of Kosovo, is once again evidence that the country must go to elections. The head of the parliamentary group of this party, Abelard Tahiri, also said that he will support the initiative of AAK, however, he says that May 30 is the last day when the Assembly should be dissolved and go to the elections.

 "So, if by the thirtieth of May, if we do not reach an agreement, then for the dissolution of the Assembly, we lose the opportunity for the citizens to turn to the ballot boxes on the thirtieth of June or the seventh of July" , Abelard Tahiri, deputy of PDK.

Despite the readiness to vote for the dissolution of the Assembly, the Vetëvendosje Movement says that it is also ready to carry the mandate to the end.

 "It is a little unimaginable to expect the dissolution of the Assembly when there are so few MPs in the hall for a debate for three years of government, let alone think about a situation which would mean the end of the work of the eighth legislature" , said Mimoza Kusari - Lila, deputy of LVV.

In order to set the date of holding this session, there must be an agreement with the agenda of the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti. The session was called since March 22 of this year.
