Extraordinary elections for the mayors of North Mitrovica, Leposaviq, Zveçan and Zubin Potok, have been announced for April 23, after the presidents of the Serbian List have resigned due to the decision of the Government of Kosovo to implement the process of re-registration of vehicles with Serbian license plates. on Kosovo license plates.

The previously announced elections, for December 18 of last year, were postponed at the request of the international community.

The deadline for submitting candidacies has expired on March 22. The Central Election Commission of Kosovo has announced that there are no new applications, but only the candidacies of those who applied for participation in the December 18 elections have been confirmed.
