ETHICS OF THE TEACHER

For a student, the figure of the teacher is so important that there comes a moment when it becomes the norm for the child's life. It all starts with that individual who stands before them every day, their teacher. The example he gives to the students is what they try to borrow or imitate, in order to feel safe in the moment they will come out in life. For this reason, the figure of the teacher is always, not only in the center of attention, but also in the image they create for the ideal teacher.
Part of the ideal is his behavior.

 - The ideal teacher would be the one who, even if "he is not", tries to be as fair as possible in the evaluation of the students. Because it often happens that teachers have no idea of ??the effect of the grade and its value. Perhaps it would be more accurate to say that they don't want to know. Often times, the lack of seriousness in the assessment by teachers, causes jealousy to arise and harms the relationships between students. Teenagers today are tired of facing the example of the weak teacher, who corrupts himself in various ways, who preaches honesty and dignity and when the time of action comes, he forgets what he said. They are tired of the figure of the teacher who, more than a counselor, educator and relative, resembles a "gendar". The time has come for the ideal teacher to not have just one image.

The teacher, the model of ethics, of learning, of knowledge.

From writing in the first grade, ethical behavior, professional values ??throughout the schooling process, every student needs a model to follow.
The model of the teacher built on standards, promises the right path in the education of the new generation of every time.
The teacher should not take a personal position. In teaching, he should appear both demanding and liberal in the sense of creating a climate, where everyone can express his thoughts freely and without any complex, the student feels the master of his speech. The teacher of pre-university education provides a warm environment with the students and I should not insult the student intentionally or unintentionally, regardless of the socio-cultural background.- But does this phenomenon exist in our asim? Yes, this happens, although in sporadic cases, but it is still a phenomenon that has not disappeared to this day. It is required that the teacher knows from the beginning the students who have been entrusted to him, being careful in the vocabulary he uses or in the comments he makes. with dedication, warmth and being the guide of their school life. 
It requires the opinion of each of them on delicate topics, it encourages students to respect each other, regardless of their origin, it turns the class into an open and inclusive environment. It ensures the intellectual development of students. With his daily work, the teacher contributes to the intellectual development of the student, at least as far as the subject he teaches is concerned, instilling in them confidence and the thought that they can achieve success. He does not inspire discrimination, creates equal participation conditions for students with disabilities, cultivates education and work culture in them through his example.
It does not allow conflicts of interest with students. In his work, the teacher is driven by psycho-pedagogical goals and academic requirements, does not create business relationships with students' parents, does not encourage students to participate in various political groups, does not abuse his duties, pulling his students behind him for the benefit of his students for supplementing knowledge after the lesson, etc.

Respect for colleagues: 

A teacher must respect his colleagues and work closely with them in the interest of the students. Disagreements between teachers are purely personal and should not affect their work. The teacher should not make comments about a colleague in front of the students. Who does not respect his colleague, does not respect himself. How evident are these good relations in our collectives?

To know and respect the institution: 

It is in the interest of the student's development, that the teacher knows and respects the objectives that have been set to successfully fulfill the current policies and standards of the school where he works, to be an indicator of inspiration for other actors interested in the smooth running of work at the school . The teacher must be aware of the personal and collective responsibilities for not realizing the objectives.

To objectively assess the student: 

A teacher should use as many assessment methods as possible, according to the standards set by the school. He is aware of the advantages or disadvantages of one method or another and works for a comprehensive assessment of it. Evaluations must be real, unbiased and alternate. 
The implementation and practice of these principles of the Code of Ethics of the teacher, will essentially help the work in our school and will raise higher the honorable figure of the employee, which today is being lost every day and more. Of course, there are also other norms, rules and principles, which would make the perspective on the teacher's code of ethics more complete, but which the educational departments themselves should make available to the teachers to familiarize themselves with them and have as a guiding compass in their teaching and educational work.

THE WAY TO WIN THE RESPECT OF STUDENTS 

Stability

Students need a "strong pillar". Often this pillar is realized by the teacher, who makes clear the standards he expects to be achieved by the students. If the student learns self-discipline, then he/she will welcome the guiding hand of his/her teacher.
Justice
Students know the reasons and non-reasons of a given situation. They will admire the teacher who is honest with the implementation of the regulation of the educational institution.

Promotion

A teacher who encourages a child's ambitions, skills and imagination wins a friend. Each challenge should be a little beyond the child's achievements, but not so much that the challenges seem impossible to achieve. And the teacher should accompany the challenge with a dose of encouragement.

Help

Call it service or concern for the student. Students expect teachers to be concerned about explaining the subjects as well as possible. They expect the teacher to explain the subject clearly. Students increase respect for the teacher if he shows interest in their feelings and results.

The joy

Children need to feel that the adults around them are reliable, competent, and joyful when solving life's problems. Above all, they respect the teacher who faces problems with good humor, confidence and assurance.
