So that it's not too late...

So that it's not too late...

I met him after more than two years. He came in like he used to when we worked together, calm, attentive, with sparkling eyes and a characteristic smile.

- I came yesterday afternoon and today I couldn't stay without meeting you, - he told me, hugging me with the longing and love that a right-handed child hugs his parent.

We spent some time together, we drank coffee, I asked him and he asked me about many things, but the time was not enough and the mind was almost not there all the time... I was afraid of this difficult situation, when the country needs the youth more than ever, for the freshness of the open mind that characterizes them and the energy they give to this society, but they find no way to live here in their country, while the curved paths become the "highway" of everyday life. Blood flows from this land blessed by God and cursed by non-human governments.

Who is Joy?

The only son of a couple of teachers from Kurbini Vlash and Marie Prendi, who spent their whole lives teaching and educating their students and children with passion. And their results were not lacking: - In education, they retired by teaching and educating entire generations of children, about 43 years in the same school, where even today they are honored and respected equally by students, teachers, parents and the community. Five children were born, raised and educated in the family, four girls and one boy, each one better than the other. Gezimi, a boy to be envied for his professional and cultural formation, finished secondary education at the "Hydajet Lezha" secondary school with very good results and then the law faculty with high results, defending the title of Lawyer . Gezimi worked only for a short time at the Registration Bureau in the Mortgage of Lezha and later at the Prefect's institution in Lezha, but in the property sector, where in both cases he was sent to resign. His law firm, education and family responsibility did not allow him to become "part of the fashion" of those who have been dealing with properties all these years of transition, adding to the fifty-year mess of the past and the "modern" one. It had become the method of the new era where you slept on your own property and were cured in the "foreigner", while the officials of this work, most of them without school, without knowledge and faith, started "without pockets" and ended "with bags" of money. on the working day.

E ftova djaloshin e ri në zyrën time.

So that it's not too late...

Pse?

Because our country has not taken a single step towards merit in more than thirty years. With acquired degrees and without degrees, many people work and direct (rather confuse!) the affairs of this country. Boys like Gezimi or girls like Vana, his wife, work in foreign countries, in agriculture and construction for a living, just like I do in my country. Hard to say, but it feels much better than being official here. They are really tired, but they live well, they are calm and equal as Italian citizens, while here. My soul hurts when I think that the little girl Meri will be an Italian citizen and will forget her mother's language. This was just a spontaneous case, but there are such cases in our country that educated and qualified young people are forced to leave their homeland and their families without having any hope of employment in their profession. It's a shame!

When this situation must change, then our path will be European. Until then? I can't define what it's called, or I don't want to, but it's not just European!
