The elections of May 14/ "It is not a battle for the democrats to clash with each other", Gazment Bardhi comes out with a strong call

Invited to the studio, PD deputy Gazment Bardhi has stated that the process is continuing regarding the consultations on how to appear in the May 14 elections, while this evening it is expected that the Presidency of the PD headed by the commanding chairman Enkelejd Alibeaj to come out with a decision regarding this matter.

Bardhi has emphasized that the situation within the DP is difficult and that the two separate parts of the DP find it difficult to bring about the change expected by the Albanians in the local elections.

Nisida Tufa: The meeting of the College of Presidents was held today, what can you tell us about the discussions?

Gazment Bardhi: We consulted on the decision-making that the presidency should take.
DP is faced with a difficult decision-making also because the debate that has described the development within DP in the last year, has created an inappropriate climate for local elections. Every decision of the DP, which history calls an important decision, will determine the fate of the country, since if the scenarios that are being promoted by Mr. Berisha's grouping to turn the "locals" into clashes between democrats, that is to favor Rama, are repeated .

Under the responsibility for the country, the Presidency should make its own decisions.

Tufa: What is your position, should you come up with candidates for councilors or mayors?

Bardhi: I have not published my position because I have been waiting for the DP to come out with a decision. I will have my freedom to express my opinion and I will respect the decisions of the party institutions, but the situation we are in is difficult. I have not spoken because the consultation process has not been completed. I will have my final opinion when the process is over. I have analyzed the situation where DP is today, the scenarios that each of the colleagues discussed in each meeting, each version has its own advantages and disadvantages and each scenario is being weighed to serve the interest of DP and Albania.

Tufa: Why was there all that fight about the seal?

Bardhi: There is no war, the seal and sigla are the property of the DP, none of us has left the DP, but a part has chosen to leave the DP.

Yes, we have a very big problem within the PD because of Berisha's behavior, the PD has split into two parts. Both parts apart, it is impossible to bring the change that Albanians want in the May 14 elections.
It is not a battle of the Democrats today to clash with each other. Our battle today is with Rama and SP. Anyone who instigates scenarios to crash DP, I am referring to the former president of DP and the politician who took everything from DP, that the DP democrats do not deserve the situation they are in today, created by stubbornness and personal interest.
