Gerald Knaus, founder of the European Stability Initiative, has stated that the recognition of Kosovo by Serbia will not be achieved.

Knaus made his comments on the show 'Balkan Talks' with moderator Franko Egro in Euronews Albania, where he said that this was also predicted by diplomat Marti Ahtisari, who, according to him, 17 years ago declared that 'no amount of additional talks, whatever whatever the format, it will not overcome this impasse.'

He also said that this is confirmed by the statement of the new Prime Minister of Serbia, who said that Kosovo will never be a state.
