"Poor and divorced with two children"/ Scary behind-the-scenes revealed, how the Greek 'mother-in-law' paid the Chechen to execute the Albanian son-in-law because they didn't want him for their daughter

A shocking 2014 murder is back in the spotlight in Greece, as the perpetrator sought to overturn the verdict that sentenced him to life in prison.

It is about  the murder of an Albanian , commissioned by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, who did not want him as a son-in-law for their daughter.

They paid 2,500 euros to a Chechen, as they did not accept the Albanian, who was "poor, older and divorced with two minor children".

In August 2014, the author SV together with his 37-year-old nephew strangled the Albanian with a rope and buried him in a wooded area.

The 43-year-old Albanian was married to the citizen FD, but they divorced and she left the matrimonial home and their two minor children lived with their father. However, the Albanian DS created a love affair with 30-year-old EM, who was 13 years younger than him, with whom he entered into a civil marriage in May 2014.

EM's parents did not approve of this marriage with the Albanian, with whom they had been on friendly terms in the past and were trying to distance her from him. The parents have made unannounced visits to the couple's home and argued with their daughter, while their efforts to convince her to leave her husband have been constant, but to no avail.

DS went to court and by order, his in-laws were prohibited from approaching his house. However, the 30-year-old's father did not give up. So a family friend introduced him to the Chechen national, who had recently been released from prison, was unemployed and in dire need of money, having been charged with three murders in the past and in a stable mental state. .

The 30-year-old's father asked the Chechen to kill his son-in-law acting alone or together with other people in exchange for a fee of 2,500 euros, of which he would give 1,500 euros in advance, while the remaining amount of 1,000 euros he would give him later.

The convict accepted the proposal and the girl's father gave him an advance of 1500 euros, while in addition he gave him a complete description of the potential victim and information about his profession and daily habits and pointed out that because of his superior physique and build, it would take at least two people to commit the murder.

Chechen together with his nephew drew up the plan of action, after they had previously bought rope. They placed him outside the village and as the potential victim was passing by in his car, they blocked his way, pretending they wanted to talk to him about some business, convinced him to get out of the car and forced him into their car.

The Albanian's car was left with the lights on, the door open and the key in the ignition, while all personal belongings, including the mobile phone, were left in the passenger seat, and in the Chechen's car they took him to a deserted area 1.5 kilometers from the village, beat him and causing scratches and bruises as well as broken teeth and then strangling him with a rope. They then dug a pit, stripped off his clothes except for his underwear so that the corpse could decompose more quickly, and buried him approx.

After his disappearance, investigations began immediately. The cameras identified the perpetrators, who unsuccessfully tried to document an alibi, claiming that at the time of the incident they were with other, third parties, that the 1,500 euros were borrowed, etc. However, the 48-year-old broke down during the interrogation and pointed to the foreigner's grave, outside Veria, in a location called Patrida.

The 48-year-old man was sentenced to life imprisonment, while the victim's father-in-law and the author's 37-year-old nephew received the same sentence, while the 54-year-old's wife received 12 years in prison.

The Chechen appealed to the Supreme Court requesting that the appellate decision convicting him be annulled, citing lack of reasoning and other procedural reasons. The judges dismissed all his claims as baseless and vague, upholding the appeal decision.
