KLA leaders in The Hague, Lulzim Basha: Injustice, we are proud of the Kosovo Liberation War

During his last podcast held in Prekaz, Lulzim Basha commented yesterday on the confrontation of the KLA leaders with the accusations of the Special Court of The Hague. According to Basha, this is an injustice and that no one can make the Kosovo Liberation War dirty. He also emphasized that everything will end with the innocence of the leaders who are in The Hague today, since from the beginning to the end of the war, the KLA was in a defensive position, while the crimes were committed by Milosevic's hordes. "When the Special Court was founded, it was founded with the will of Hashim Thaçi, Kadri Vesel, Jakup Krasniqi and many others, because the leaders of the Liberation War knew that Kosovo has nothing to hide, and that nothing can make the Kosovo Liberation War dirty. In my personal judgment it is an injustice that they are kept for so long in the Special Court in The Hague, as I have the deepest conviction that even this double, multiple sacrifice will end not simply with their innocence, but with their contribution to not allow any mud to be thrown over Kosovo, the KLA and the Kosovo Liberation War. We are proud of the Liberation War of Kosovo, but we must say that the claims, I mean on the professional level, the claims raised, for which they are held there and for which they are judged, are completely baseless. The war started to protect the threshold of the house, and here we have the Jashar Tower, it stands there as a monument, as a standard, of tens, hundreds, thousands of houses that were burned, whose inhabitants were massacred. The KLA was a voluntary association of fathers, sons of these houses, to protect the doorstep. There is no fairer war, there is no purer resistance than the war for the liberation of Kosovo. War crimes were committed from one direction, and that is the direction of Serbia, of Milosevic's hordes, against the innocent Albanian population of Kosovo. The KLA has been in full defensive positions from the beginning until the end of the war," declared Basha.
