The investigation into the Meta-Kryemadhi couple is deepened/ the Prosecution "unravels" the details: the summoning of other persons will continue

The Special Prosecutor's Office is expected to interrogate other people in connection with the investigations they are conducting against former president Ilir Meta and his wife Monika Kryemadhi. 

A few days ago, the spouses Ilir Meta and Monika Kryemadhi were questioned in the special prosecutor's office as persons with knowledge. Kryemadhi, after leaving SPAK, admitted that he was called to give clarifications about the investigations started on the verification of assets, while the former president Meta did not give clarifications in front of the journalists, but in harsher language than ever, he attacked SPAK leader Altin Dumani.

Monika Kryemadhi's mother was also questioned earlier for the same investigation. It is known that during the verifications, it was found that Fatima Kryemadhi, but also other persons, are related to several money transactions transferred to the children of the Meta-Kryemadhi couple.

Similarly, in her apartment, during a warrantless search, 5 mobile phones were seized, 1 of which belonged to Monika Kryemadhi. The special prosecutor's office is carrying out investigative actions in relation to two reports registered in a single one, the first is related to some aesthetic interventions of the couple Meta Kryemadhi in a clinic outside Albania and the second with the amount of 700 thousand dollars which is the payment for lobbying in usa from the socialist movement for integration party.
