Transport of contraband goods, the customs officers and the truck driver suffer badly (Names)

The police of Vlora have handcuffed a 63-year-old man who was transporting contraband goods in trucks. During the checks carried out, it turned out that the arrested person was transporting large quantities of food products and detergents on behalf of a material business.

As a result, the police announced a search for the owner of the business on whose account these contraband goods were transported.

Also, 2 employees of the Qafë Bote Customs Branch have been arrested, as they are accused of abuse of office, and a third is wanted.

 "The citizen NG, 63 years old, was put in handcuffs for the criminal offense of "Smuggling other goods", the citizen AA, 54 years old, with customs duty at the Qafë Bote Customs Branch, for the criminal offense "Abuse of duty", and the citizen AV, 49 years old, with duty in charge of the shift at the Qafë Bote Customs Branch, for the criminal offense "Abuse of duty".

- Citizen AM, 52 years old, business administrator, was declared wanted for the criminal offense "Trading and transporting contraband goods".

- The materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office, where the proceedings were initiated in a free state for the criminal offense "Abuse of duty", for the citizen EA, 43 years old, with the duty of agent in the Customs Branch around the World", the announcement states.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office of Saranda for further actions.
