Strong tensions in the north echo in the international media, here's what they write

On Saturday and Sunday, Kosovo Serbs resigned from all positions in Kosovo's public institutions.

Their mobilization came as a sign of protest against Kosovo's decision to implement Kosovo license plates for Serbian residents. The Serbs have also requested the creation of the Association of Serbian Municipalities.

Not only that, the Serbs in the north of the country gathered in a protest to oppose the decision of the Government of Kosovo on license plates.

The current situation in Kosovo is clearly being reported by prestigious foreign media, even an Italian medium La Repubblica reported that this conflict is being attributed to Moscow, which according to this medium  "is igniting the conflict in the country".

Citing a number of factors, La Repubblica wrote that " Belgrade has put the army on alert"  and that Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti accused Russia.

Another medium that reported on the situation is Politicio, which wrote that in the headline that  "ethnic tensions flared up again in the north of Kosovo". In addition, the medium also reported on today's protest, which according to them hundreds of protesters participated.

Meanwhile, the medium Blick wrote that the dispute over the number plates escalated again. Blick said that the tensions between the representatives of the Serbian minority and the government in Pristina have increased.

On the other hand, an article from The Guardian reported that the anti-Western outlook in Serbia does not come from support for Putin. According to this article, there are a significant number of Russophiles in Serbian society, although they are a noisy minority of about 21 percent.
